More than 21 million people face critical levels of hunger in Sudan

The international organization responsible for monitoring global hunger has declared a famine in the Sudanese city of Al Fashir, captured by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) paramilitary group. It has also confirmed a famine in Kadugli, a besieged city in the south of the country.
