BarcelonaIn April 2017, Daniel Siad sent an email to Jeffrey Epstein to thank him. This French-Algerian man had just settled in Barcelona and announced that he had already contacted two modeling agencies based in Spain to begin "the"scouting"Of girls. "Spain is safer than Paris, especially Barcelona, it's full of tourists everywhere," the man adds. The documentation that the United States Department of Justice has declassified regarding the Epstein case has allowed thousands of documents of conversations and emails that the pedophile and corrupter of minors had with celebrities to come to light. He was one of them. Also appearing are the conversations that Epstein had with many young girls.

2"," Siad writes to Epstein in 2017, and then announces that he will send him photos. This is a constant in their conversations. The magnate always asks for pictures of the girls and is very interested in their age and appearance, especially if they look younger than they are. "You can talk to her, she's very affectionate. I'm looking to place her here and in Paris. Her dream is New York," says the facilitator, who also informs him that the girl's younger sister, 20, works for an Australian agency but also intends to go to New York to make her dreams come true. After sending him some photos of them, Siad points out that the Australian girl is prettier in person. The magnate quickly announces that he will be in Paris the following week and that Woody Allen will be performing in Barcelona soon. "Do you want tickets?" the pedophile asks Siad, who, after accepting, tells him that he will be "there" to "organize something."

One of the declassified documents.

The facilitator sends photos and videos of many girls to Epstein, and some end up meeting the magnate directly and striking up conversations. Some young models ask him for money, hotel stays, or plane tickets—some to or from Barcelona—and he provides it. For example, he gives 3,000 euros to a girl who is going to Barcelona to work at Fashion Week but won't be paid for 90 days and is bankrupt in the meantime. The same thing happens with another girl who needs money to pay her rent. In 2016, Epstein proposes a video call to another girl living in Barcelona and asks her for pictures of herself: "Kneel on the bed," he tells her. He also tells her that he has sent her a phone and that it will arrive soon because it's in customs. "Put your phone down, even between your legs," Epstein demands on another occasion. He helped them financially, but in return, he asked for sexual material.

Morocco and Cuba

Siad also travels to Cuba and Morocco in search of new girls. With the death of Fidel Castro in the fall of 2016, he travels to the Caribbean island and tells Epstein that they should open an agency there, and that he has spoken with Castro's son. "I've met some new and beautiful girls, I'll keep you posted," the facilitator announces, specifying that one is very "sweet" and that perhaps they won't have to put her in the "fashion industry." Epstein insists on knowing the girl's name and whether she has Skype to contact her. "I'm in Barcelona with an incredible beauty," Siad concludes the conversation, already on his way back to his home city.

A few months later, during Ramadan, he travels to Morocco to recruit new victims and assures him that the head of the young Moroccan students who organizes cultural activities could join his project to find the "best models." A project that Epstein explains in 2011 to a very young girl with whom he exchanges emails. "You can help me find new assistants. You have good judgment and a good eye. I'm starting four new businesses and I need more help. Elegant young people, men or women, ambitious and willing to work hard, long hours, and travel a lot. They will have to be organized and able to deal with the aristocracy, both from around the world." This is what the magnate says to the very young girl, still a student, who excitedly tells him about her private life and her dreams of traveling to Europe and Africa.

The term "assistant" appears repeatedly in the files made public by the Department of Justice. In December 2016, an unidentified person emailed LV requesting her home address to complete the paperwork for an "assistant" who would be arriving from Barcelona. "Jeffrey wants to bring a potential new assistant from Barcelona. She has to fill out the ESTA documents," the email says. The girl must travel to Miami and return to the Catalan capital after four or five days. Even some of Epstein's associates joked in emails to each other: "I could use an assistant. Does she make windows? I have a huge house."

When the French-Algerian living in Barcelona received information about a new girl, he quickly forwarded it to Epstein. One of the many examples is that of a young woman who told him that 13 other girls wanted to work as hostesses at the Formula 1 race in Abu Dhabi. Siad immediately forwarded it to Epstein. In return, Siad received payments for his services through a Dubai bank account.

But Siad wasn't Epstein's only facilitator. Another man sent him profiles of girls via Skype. One of these girls was a 23-year-old Brazilian woman living in Barcelona. He sent profile after profile for Epstein to decide. And when he approves one of the candidates, he specifies what he wants: "He asks for a full-body mirror selfie, showing hips and buttocks."
