BarceAt least 15 people were killed and seven wounded in a Russian drone strike in Pavlograd, in Ukraine's central Dnipropetrovsk region, local authorities announced. The energy company DTEK confirmed that the victims were miners who had finished their shift and were waiting to be taken home on a company bus. The region's governor, Oleksandr Ganzha, stated that the drone struck next to the vehicle. The bombing comes amid a partial ceasefire agreed upon by the Kremlin and Kyiv, which have pledged not to attack energy infrastructure. Energy facilities in Ukraine have been severely damaged by attacks in recent weeks, and millions are suffering from power and heating outages during the coldest weeks of the year, with temperatures reaching -20 degrees Celsius. According to Moscow, the ceasefire should last at least until Sunday.

The first trilateral meeting took place last Sunday, also in the United Arab Emirates, and the negotiators indicated their willingness to meet again. Initially, it was speculated that it would be today, but it will now take place in the middle of next week. Yesterday, Russia's chief negotiator, Kirill Dmitriev, met in Florida with White House envoy Steve Witkoff.
