Kasa Hanaka: Japanese food with views of Barcelona

When I discovered Kasa Hanaka (the first thing they opened, I'll tell you about it now), It seemed to me that I was in front of a unique placeI was at Vil·la Urània, a Civic Center on Zaragoza Street in Barcelona that makes you feel like you're in a palace. What's more, its homemade Japanese cuisine, both for lunch and desserts, made it unique, and it also had very affordable prices.

I later learned that behind the macha cheesecake and the udon noodles (which change every month) was a couple made up of a Catalan, Daniel Casanova, and a Japanese, Aya Hanaka. Of course, I wasn't the only one amazed by the offer. It was an almost instant success. And so, it's good news that this year they've expanded their offering to two other civic centers. One is the Sarrià Civic Center. And the second is Casal Mas Guinardó, where there's an impressive terrace that offers splendid views of the city of Barcelona. It reminds me again of the feeling of "luxury for all" I felt the first time I went to the original Kasa Hanaka, at Vil la Urània. Why can't we all enjoy privileged spaces while enjoying food made with love?
