How long will it last?

Lleida, Tarragona, Castelló, València, Palma and all the surrounding areas is where it will be best seen the total eclipse. In Catalonia, the best places to see it will be in Ponent and Terres de l'Ebre.

Can I take off my glasses during the eclipse?

It is only safe to observe the eclipse with the naked eye when it is total, but this will only be possible in the southern strip of Catalonia. Before and after, you must wear glasses.

Can I drive a car on the day of the eclipse?

There is a prepared special deployment of mobility. It is recommended to travel on high-capacity roads such as the AP-7, C-25, A-2, AP-2, A-7 and N340, and to avoid secondary roads.

Will there be any restrictions?

Due to the high risk of fire, the Government has restricted access to wooded areas in Segrià, La Granja d’Escarp, Seròs, Almatret, and the plains of Montmaneu, as well as the Ports Natural Park and the Serra del Montsant Natural Park.
