The six major EU economies are pressuring the other states to boost the Savings and Investment Union

The finance ministers of the six major EU economies – Germany, France, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, and Poland – have sent a letter to the Presidency of the Council of the EU to promote and consolidate a "true" Union of Savings and Investment across the Twenty-seven.
