The Ministry of Public Works now claims that the decree on the regularization of migrants does not provide legal guarantees.

The employers' association Foment del Treball stated on Tuesday that the royal decree for the regularization of thousands of immigrants promoted by the Spanish government does not provide "essential legal and operational guarantees" for a process that is "safe, orderly and consistent with the current legal framework".
