Nearly 600,000 Catalans pay an average of 924 euros per month in rent

A total of 594,122 Catalans declared gross income from property rentals in the year 2023, according to the latest data available from the Personal Income Tax (IRPF) consulted by EFE. This represents 14.2% of taxpayers that year and, on average, they received 11,085 euros annually, meaning 924 per month.
