The Barcelona Chamber of Commerce calls for the harmonization of VAT on art to guarantee the viability of galleries.

In response to the unprecedented protest by the art gallery sector in Spain and Catalonia for a reduction of the 21% VAT currently applied to art sales, the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce supports the sector's demands and calls on the State for immediate tax harmonization.
