David Ball, co-founder of the duo Soft Cell, dies

British musician David Ball, co-founder of the band Soft Cell, died "in his sleep" at the age of 66 on Wednesday, according to the duo's other half, singer Marc Almond, in a statement describing Ball as "a wonderful and brilliant musical genius."
