Body reiterates that BBVA's takeover bid for Sabadell would be "a step backwards" in competition

The Minister of Economy, Carlos Cuerpo, maintains his "concern" over the hostile takeover bid by BBVA for Banc Sabadell. In an interview on RAC1 this Wednesday, Cuerpo insisted on the impact of the operation on employment, SMEs and the closure of branches.
