Boris Spassky, Bobby Fischer's great rival, dies

Russian Boris Spassky, one of the players in the most iconic game in chess history, died on Thursday at the age of 88. His rival was American Bobby Fischer, who beat him in the midst of the Cold War. Spassky was world champion from 1969 to 1972.
