BarcelonaBarça and Levante will face each other today, Saturday, at the Ciutat de València (9:30 p.m.) in a match corresponding to Matchday 2 of La Liga. Barça will be looking for their second win of the season to remain at the top of the table and avoid dropping points in the opening matches, while Levante will be looking to secure their first win of the campaign after falling at Alavés with a goal from Tenaglia in added time (2-1).

The azulgranas arrive after beating Mallorca (0-3) in a match in which controversy was aplenty. –a goal with an opposing player on the ground and two red cards for the Balearic Islands–, but Hansi Flick's team managed to resolve them perfectly with goals from Raphinha, Ferran Torres, and Lamine Yamal, who made his official debut wearing the number 10. Joan Garcia and Rashford also made their official debuts for Barça, while Wojciech Szczęsny, Roony Bardghji, and Gerard Martín didn't get any playing time because they weren't registered. A setback that will prevent – at least the first two – from being in Valencia today. Flick, on the other hand, admitted in the press conference that he's confident he'll have Gerard Martín, although his presence is pending confirmation of Oriol Romeu's departure.

Separately, the German coach will have Robert Lewandowski back after overcoming the fitness problems that kept him out of the match in Mallorca. Aside from those not registered, Héctor Fort, who along with Bardghji played a friendly with the Barcelona reserves on Friday, will be absent; Ter Stegen and Marc Bernal, the latter two due to injury. Frenkie de Jong, who has recently become a father and did not train with the group in the last session, will be ready for Flick.
