A woman has been arrested for the death of a man stabbed in Reus.
The victim died minutes later as a result of injuries sustained from a knife.
BarcelonaThe Catalan police arrested a 31-year-old woman this Monday in connection with the violent death of a 27-year-old man stabbed in Reus. According to the Catalan police, the incident occurred around 5:15 a.m. this morning on Carrer de la Amargura in the capital of Baix Camp. Several units of the Reus Urban Guard received a call that a man was seriously injured in the street and were dispatched along with Mossos d'Esquadra officers and two units from the Medical Emergency System (SEM).
Despite the efforts of medical professionals, nothing could be done to save the man's life, and he died minutes later as a result of the stab wounds. The Criminal Investigation Division (DIC) of Tarragona has taken over the investigation to clarify the events. The case is under confidentiality.
