Twenty years in prison for killing his partner with 118 stab wounds after tricking her into a sexual game
The perpetrator tied the man's hands to immobilize him so she could attack him.
BarcelonaA woman has accepted a 20-year prison sentence for stabbing her partner to death in 2023. The crime took place at their home in Sant Adrià de Besòs (Barcelona): the woman tied the man's hands behind his back to immobilize him, simulating a sexual act. According to the prosecutor's indictment, the murder occurred around 1:30 p.m. on November 16, 2023, at the couple's home. The woman "tied the victim's hands behind his back, leaving him completely immobilized," simulating a sexual act. She then stabbed the man 118 times while he was still alive, "which increased his suffering gratuitously and unnecessarily to cause his death," the prosecution explained.
The prosecutor believes that the actions of the woman convicted of murder were "completely unexpected" and that this left the victim "unable to mount any effective defense against the attack."
Agreement and reduction for confession
The woman accused of murder with premeditation and cruelty has been in pretrial detention since her arrest, awaiting trial scheduled for Wednesday at the Barcelona Provincial Court. Although the prosecution sought a 25-year prison sentence, the defendant's confession facilitated a plea agreement that avoided litigation: she accepted a sentence of 20 years and one day. In addition, the prosecutor has imposed five years of supervised release after she serves her 20-year prison term for the murder.
