A third of those who change municipalities are foreigners

Up to 282,739 people changed municipalities in 2024 in Catalonia, a figure that represents 8,597 more than the previous year. More than half of the internal movements were between municipalities in different regions, and regarding the profile of those who moved, almost a third were foreign population.
