BarcelonaThe objective was to kill him. Three people walked up to a man who was on a terrace with his wife and his son, who was resting in a stroller. Suddenly, they opened fire with a pistol. Neighbors heard five shots. One of the bullets hit him in the neck. A ricocheting bullet grazed a pedestrian passing on the other side of the street, although it did not cause serious injuries. The woman and the child were unharmed. Afterward, when the target of the attack was already lying on the ground, badly wounded, they also attacked him with a bladed weapon. Once they finished the attempted execution, they fled, also on foot, in the direction of the sea.

which is also fully affecting Catalonia. The Skaljari clan would not be understood without another clan from Montenegro, the Kavac clan. They have been in conflict for more than a decade, a narco war that has spread throughout Europe and is also fully affecting Catalonia. Last December, a man was shot dead in the middle of the street in Castelldefels. He was also related to the Skaljari clan.

The events took place on Passeig del Taulat.

Also last July, a man was shot dead in Consell de Cent street in Barcelona. Who was the perpetrator? It is not yet known. And the victim? A man linked to the Kavac clan. A week later, not far from there, on Comte d'Urgell street, a man was shot several times. Again, it is not known who the perpetrator was. The victim was Predrag Vujosevic – known as Marko–, a historic leader of the gang specialized in jewelry robberies, The Pink Panther. Precisely, this man was arrested in 2021 for being part of the Skaljari clan. It is now being investigated whether this last shooting is also part of this open war.

Luxury and money

In fact, according to sources consulted by ARA, the man they tried to kill this Tuesday in Sant Martí was not just any member of this clan. At his home, just in front of the bar where he was attacked, luxury items were found. The apartment by itself was already luxurious. In the parking lot he also had high-end cars. Everything points to him having chosen Barcelona to hide.

Now, the Mossos continue talking to witnesses, reviewing security cameras and searching for the weapons from the shooting. In fact, they have restricted access to a nearby park to check if the attackers might have abandoned the weapon in some bushes. For now, they have not found it. This Monday, the terrace of the bar, specialized in brunch and with a predominantly foreign clientele, was full again. There was still some trace of blood on the ground. The Mossos continue investigating the events, but when foreign clans are involved, investigations become very complicated.
