The Supreme Court has upheld Cristina Rivas's sentence of life imprisonment subject to review for the murder of her four-year-old daughter, Yaiza, in 2021. This decision will make the sentence handed down by the Barcelona Court of Appeals in accordance with the unanimous verdict of the jury in the case final.
