Public defenders in Barcelona are assisting 9% more victims of gender violence

Public defenders in Barcelona assisted 9.06% more victims of gender-based violence in 2025 than the previous year. In total, they provided 12,852 services, a thousand more than in 2024. Thus, the average number of victims assisted per day rose from 32 to 35.
