The investigation into the death of Mango founder Isak Andic has incorporated a new witness who claims the family therapist commissioned her to find a mountain route for Jonathan Andic. The woman, a British interpreter who collaborated occasionally with the psychotherapist, voluntarily presented herself to the Mossos d'Esquadra to explain her role in the days leading up to the businessman's death, as reported by El Periódico and confirmed by the 'Efe' agency.

According to her testimony, she accompanied Jonathan Andic on December 7, 2024, to the Salnitre caves area in Collbató, a week before Isak Andic died after falling down a ravine during an excursion with his son. The witness maintains that the outing was intended to prepare the route that father and son would take a few days later.

The woman also explained that she collaborated with the therapist by organizing excursions in natural settings as part of family therapy dynamics. This treatment had already emerged during the judicial investigation, after the psychotherapist testified as a witness before the judge investigating the case.

Following this new statement, the Mossos d'Esquadra are preparing an expansion of the police report that they will send to the court. The magistrate will now have to decide whether to summon the new witness to testify in court, likely from September.
