Map of the bonfires of San Juan in Barcelona: find out where they are all
The Canigó Flame will arrive at 5 p.m. at Camp Nou and will light a large number of the city's fires.

BarcelonaThe time of year is approaching when fire invades the streets and beaches throughout Catalonia. In Barcelona, as every year, various associations, devil groups, and neighborhood organizations organize bonfires so that anyone who wishes can celebrate the night of San Juan with flames and smoke, and also by dancing at a popular festival away from the crowds on the beaches.
The Day of the Països Catalans will once again fill the streets and beaches of the Catalan capital with popular festivities, in celebrations that begin this Monday, June 23rd at 6:00 p.m. with the arrival of the Flame of Canigó to Plaça Sant Jaume. As night approaches, big-heads and giants will give way to dinners, firecrackers, and bonfires scattered throughout the city.
So you don't miss out on a night when the streets are full of activities, we offer a compilation of the bonfires authorized by the City Council in the streets and squares of Barcelona. In the center of the capital, in Ciutat Vella, there will be bonfires on the Rambla del Raval, in the Plaça del Poeta Boscà in Barceloneta, and on Passeig de Lluís Companys. In Sant Martí, human tower and devil groups are organizing in Poblenou, Clot, and La Verneda, and in Sant Andreu, we will find them in Plaça de Can Fabra and Plaça de los Jardines in Elche, among others.
But the San Juan celebrations won't begin at night, as many of these bonfires will be lit throughout the afternoon as the Canigó Flame reaches the neighborhoods. It begins at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday at Camp Nou. From there, it will be carried to Plaça Sant Jaume, where a welcome party will be held starting at 5:45 p.m. with Àliga, the Capgrossos Macers, and the Giants of the City, accompanied by the Cobla Sant Jordi - City of Barcelona. The celebrations will be held to distribute the flame throughout the city and ignite the festival and celebration.
