Man kills his partner in Sabadell and turns himself in to the police
The Catalan police, known as Mossos d'Esquadra, have arrested a man for the alleged murder of his partner in Sabadell (Vallès Occidental). The murderer turned himself in at the police station in Sabadell this Wednesday night, around 11.30 pm, and confessed to killing his partner. The Mossos went to the house, along with a forensic doctor, who certified the death of the victim.
The body showed signs of violence and, given these facts, the man was arrested. According to the Catalonia's High Court, there was no record of previous complaints by the victim against the man. The Sabadell court no. 5 has taken charge of the case. The investigation is in the hands of the Mossos d'Esquadra's criminal investigation unit for the north metropolitan region.
According to RNE, the man is around 60 years old, refused to return to the house -located on the Rambla- and had put the body in a trunk.
