An accident in Sant Cugat leaves kilometer-long queues on the AP-7
The last of the trucks involved in the accident has been removed and all lanes have now been reopened.

BarcelonaAn accident involving two lorries and a car has forced the AP-7 to be closed at Sant Cugat del Vallès, heading south towards Tarragona. The traffic jams have reached 12 km between Santa Perpètua de Mogoda and Sant Cugat, according to the Catalan Traffic Service. Detours have been made towards the B-30 at Cerdanyola del Vallès, but this road also has a 4 km long queue between Barberà del Vallès and Cerdanyola del Vallès heading south.
One person was injured in the accident, who was taken in a less serious condition to the Mutua de Terrassa. Three other people were treated at the scene and were discharged voluntarily.
A lane has been opened to facilitate the passage of some vehicles, but Trànsit recommends travelling by alternative routes, the C-58 or the B-40 and the A-2. Two teams of the Mossos and four of the Firefighters of the Generalitat went to the scene of the accident, where a crane removed the truck that had crashed and restored traffic hours later.
