A 19-year-old driver has been arrested in connection with the death of a cyclist in Subirats.

A 56-year-old cyclist died Sunday morning in a collision with a car on the C-243a road in Subirats (Alt Penedès). The Mossos d'Esquadra (Catalan police) arrested the 19-year-old driver of the car, who tested positive for alcohol and drugs. Emergency services received the call at 7:48 a.m.
