Crimes on the Barcelona metro fall by 34% in the first half of 2026

The Barcelona metro network has registered 34% fewer crimes (5,528) during the first six months of 2026 compared to the same period last year (8,388). TMB attributes this to prevention measures and collaboration with security forces.
