Arrested for trying to leave without paying the 4,000 euro hotel fee

The Mossos d'Esquadra (Catalan police) have arrested two tourists, aged 28 and 26, for attempting to defraud a hotel in Cambrils by making it appear they had paid a €4,171.68 bill using a falsified bank transfer receipt manipulated by artificial intelligence.
