The feeling of Catalan identification among young people plummets: from 57% to 36% in ten years

The percentage of young people who feel only Catalan or more Catalan than Spanish has fallen 20 points in ten years. In 2014, the feeling of Catalan identification was 57% among people aged 16 to 29, while it has now dropped to 36.2%, according to the 2024 State of Youth Report.
