The Congress reforms the democratic memory law to expand compensation to Francoism victims

The Congress has validated a decree from the Spanish government to extend compensation to victims of Francoism. It received the green light with 173 votes in favor, 170 against – from the PP and Vox – and 7 abstentions from Junts. The Republicans announced in the morning an agreement with Moncloa to give it support.
