Carlos Westendorp (1937, Madrid), politician, diplomat, and jurist, died this Monday at the age of 89. He had been Minister of Foreign Affairs during the last government of Felipe González and High Representative for Bosnia and Herzegovina of the UN from 1997 to 1999.
