U.S. Army head confirms calls to China to de-escalate tension in Trump's final days

The head of the US Army, Mark Milley, has confirmed in Congress that in the last days of the Trump administration he made calls to China for "de-escalating" the tension, even though he is "sure that president Trump did not want to attack China". Milley assures that the calls were not secret.
