Sustainable cleaning startup Plazy consolidates its position in the market with 136% growth
The company plans to hire 200 workers and close 2025 with a turnover of 2 million


BarcelonaThe start-up Plazy has managed to close a record year thanks to its consolidation and expansion in the Spanish market. In 2024, the company exceeded 10,000 services performed and managed to attract more than 4,000 clients among individuals, companies and public administrations, achieving a growth of 136% compared to the previous year.
The company, created in 2020, in the midst of the covid-19 pandemic, by David Brea and with roots in Sabadell, announced last year the opening to new key markets in cities such as Madrid, Valencia, Malaga, Gandía, Vigo, Girona, Alicante or Almería, among others. the, Volvo Truck Center, Iveco, Aguas de Barcelona and the City Council of Hospitalet.
Looking to the future, Plazy has international expansion as its next chapter. In addition, the start-up Plazy expects to have a turnover of more than 2 million euros in 2025, which implies a growth of 560% and to recruit 200 new employees. In addition, with the aim of continuing to boost its growth, Plazy expects to reach 20,000 services performed by the end of the year, as well as a 100% increase in its production, compared to 2024.
Sustainability
One of Plazy's distinguishing features is its commitment to sustainability and its responsible cleaning approach. With its cleaning system, the company claims to save more than 1kg of CO₂ and 150 litres of water per service, meaning that in 2024 it represented a total saving of more than 10,000 kg of CO₂ and nearly 1.5 million litres of water. During this year, the company start-up expects to double its figures, saving 22,000 kg of CO₂ and 3 million liters of water.
