BarcelonaThis weekend, the 30th Human Tower Competition is being held at the Tarraco Arena Plaça in Tarragona, and La Xarxa will be fully committed to it. Viewers will be able to follow both days of the competition live through the broadcast produced by La Xarxa and TAC12, the public television of the Camp de Tarragona, for local television stations and the platform. More than 80 professionals are participating in the broadcast, and La Xarxa will deploy the maximum technical resources at its disposal: an HD mobile unit, 16 cameras, 1 skycam for overhead shots of the entire square, and 1 drone for aerial shots.

The broadcast will start on Saturday at 4:00 PM and will follow the performance of the 18 'gamma de 8' and 'gamma alta de 8' groups. Sunday will begin at 9:00 AM and will be the turn of the performance by 12 groups and 'castells de 9', 'gamma extra', and 'de 10'. One of the attractions of this year's edition is the return of the Castellers de Castelldefels, who had not performed since 1994. The special will be presented by Toni Comas and will feature narration by Carles Cortés and commentary by Aina Mallol, Marta de Sangenís, and Iruna Rigau. The ground-level reporting will be handled by Àlex Alonso and Judit Anyaorah.

In addition to the broadcast for local television stations, La Xarxa and TAC12 also produce the international signal for the event and make it available to the Competition organization. Furthermore, they are also in charge of the signal received in the VAR room, where the jury meets.

La Xarxa points out that the following of human towers through the local television platform is on the rise. The last Diada de Sant Fèlix in Vilafranca was the most watched in history, with more than 900,000 minutes of consumption on the La Xarxa+ platform and more than 1 million views on social media.
