A magnitude 7.8 earthquake leaves at least 19 dead in the Philippines

At least 19 people have died this Monday in the south of the Philippines after a magnitude 7.8 earthquake shook the island of Mindanao and triggered tsunami alerts in several countries. The earthquake occurred early in the morning and tremors were felt in a dozen provinces.
