Playa de AroThe Almarí restaurant, located within the Cala del Pi hotel, in the town of Platja d'Aro, wants to make lovers of pasta, vegetables, rice dishes, fish, and meat happy. For the former, rigatoni stuffed with oxtail under a langoustine topping. A memorable, indulgent dish, with a generous portion, one of those that makes a celebration just by arriving at the table. Pair it with varied starters, such as Roman-style squid, prawn carpaccio with extra virgin olive oil, or with lobster salad with red berries.

To continue, lovers of rice dishes, know that you will find more than one, both meat, fish, and spring mushroom, as it is now the season. It will be difficult for you to decide between the senyoret rice, the crayfish broth (necoras, as they call it in l'Empordà), or the dry one with espardenyas and allioli. The kitchen team, led by executive chef Josep Ayats, and chef José Sánchez, will recommend them all to you, because they are passionate about rice dishes. Among the fish dishes, the monkfish and clam stew is also a good recommendation. To finish, desserts: you will find the Catalanet, which consists of nougat ice cream, carquinyolis, and ratafia liqueur.

The Almarí restaurant has a cocktail bar, called Salluna (a fitting name, because at night you will contemplate it well), which is a proposal to extend the night. The Hotel Cala del Pi is managed by Rafel Gastal Serra, and is known, apart from its cuisine, for its spa of large dimensions, six hundred square meters.
