Naturgy wins 1,215 million euros in the first half of 2026
The energy company increases its net profit by 5.9% compared to the same period last year
Naturgy has obtained a net profit of 1,215 million euros in the first half of 2026, a figure that represents an increase of 5.9% compared to the 1,147 million euros registered in the same period last year. The group's gross operating profit (ebitda) amounts to 2,975 million euros, 4.5% more year-on-year, while the net amount of turnover reaches 10,097 million euros, compared to 9,961 million in the first half of the previous fiscal year.
By divisions, distribution networks registered an ebitda of 1,514 million euros, an increase of 13.2%, while the energy markets area generated 1,490 million euros, 2.4% less than in the first half of 2025. The company's investments (capex) stood at 844 million euros during the first six months, compared to 897 million in the previous year. For its part, net debt closed at 11,745 million euros on June 30, 2026, a figure that is reduced: 12,317 million reflected at the end of 2025, placing the net debt to ebitda ratio at 2.2 times.
Regarding shareholder remuneration, the company will pay a first interim dividend for the 2026 fiscal year of 0.60 euros per share in cash on July 29, 2026. For the entire 2026 fiscal year, Naturgy expects to achieve an ebitda of over 5,500 million euros, a consolidated net profit attributable to the parent company of over 2,100 million euros, and net debt at the end of the year in the region of 13,000 million euros.
