The special ARA of Sant Jordi, dedicated to combat literature
The ARA will be on newsstands this Wednesday with an expanded edition, and the newspaper will have a stop on Las Ramblas.

This Wednesday's AHORA will be a very special newspaper. In a time characterized by a wave of regression around the world, with continued attacks on fundamental rights and the spread of lies, fake news and attacks on freedom, the newspaper has focused on combat literature. Literature is, without a doubt, the best weapon for denouncing injustice, arbitrariness, and totalitarian policies. They have suffered—and continue to suffer—reprisals. We discuss in depth the ARA (Argentine National Assembly) this Sant Jordi (Saint George's Day), which falls in the middle of the week and has generated high expectations among booksellers. It is likely, if the weather permits, that book sales records will be broken. Expressions of the repression against freedom of expression. We will also recommend fifteen essays published in the last thirty years that are good examples of combat thinking. Now We Read.
You'll also find a selection of essays on being more free, written by journalist Sílvia Marimon, an interview with poet Enric Casasses, and a chronicle of the Sant Jordi proclamation, read by Mexican Cristina Rivera Garza. In addition, from cover to cover, you can read classic quotes about freedom and against the abuse of power, sayings to reflect on and remember.
On the cover, the cover letter of this special newspaper, we've added a third verb to the traditional Sant Jordi motto "Read, love," and added a third verb: "Think." To think freely, this is ARA's proposal for this Sant Jordi. The illustration was created by Mari Fouz, a prestigious author who regularly collaborates with ARA.
