Mario Santana (Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, 1960), a professor at the University of Chicago, has won the 35th Ramon Llull Award for Catalan Studies and Cultural Diversity. The award, endowed with 6,000 euros, recognizes his contribution to Catalan culture and will be presented in December in Andorra.
