Hermann, a giant of European comics, dies

The cartoonist Hermann Huppen, one of the great names in European comics, has died at the age of 87. He was the author of the magnificent saga western Comanchewith scripts by Greg. Hermann's best-known work is the medieval fresco The Bois-Maury towers, a masterpiece of historical comics that he signed on his own.
