The cinema of David Moragas It occupies a little-trodden space in Catalan cinema: that of stories focused on the everyday existence of people. queerMoragas is part of what our colleague Eulàlia Iglesias defined as a kind of "new cinema". queerCatalan, a group that also includes authors like Marc Ferrer and Zaida Carmona. Like any label, this one encompasses very different sensibilities, and Moragas's approach is unique in that it moves away from irony or humor. field to construct an intimate drama reminiscent of the early Cesc Gay universe (the one ofIn the city).
