Úrsula Corberó boasts of her Catalan identity, saying she's a fan of La Queta and can't count in Catalan.

BarcelonaÚrsula Corberó began her career at TV3, but she made the leap to international audiovisual productions some time ago and has filmed, among other places, in Argentina, where her partner, Chino Darín, is from. This week, the actress appeared on the podcast The posh girl and the quinqui to present the film The jockey, which premieres this Friday, and she took the opportunity to show off her Catalan heritage. During the conversation, the actress from Sant Pere de Vilamajor confessed that when it comes to counting numbers, she doesn't know how to do it in Spanish, only in Catalan. "Can you believe that I know how to count in Catalan but not in Spanish? I have a hard time saying my ID number in Spanish," Corberó said during the conversation with Carlos Peguer and Mariang.

Aside from being used to counting in Catalan, Corberó also explained that she has a problem with the handwriting on her ID number, the c, especially when he is in Madrid. "I say c of home. I could say c of Catalonia, but in Madrid it's better not to say it...", he argued.

Corberó hasn't shot a Catalan-language production in a while. He says he's tried to work in Catalonia, but ultimately the projects haven't come to fruition. "I've tried. A couple of things were close to coming out, but in the end, due to scheduling issues, they couldn't be arranged," he remarked.
