BarcelonaLamine Yamal begins his entry into adulthood. The young Barça star turns 18 this Sunday, July 13, and celebrated his coming-of-age celebration with a party. The Rocafonda native gathered his family for an intimate dinner on Saturday at the La Cúpula restaurant in Garraf, with a personalized cake bearing his image. But the main event came after dinner: a high-end private celebration, organized with the utmost secrecy. The event also featured an exclusive guest list, in addition to a strict ban on cell phones.

Guests included singer Bad Gyal, rapper Duki, producer Bizarrap, and singers Ozuna and Quevedo, five major names on the current music scene. Also expected were Formula 1 driver Lewis Hamilton, along with several influencers. And the player has already received, in advance, some rather famous gift.

Finally, Bad Gyal, Ozuna, and Quevedo attended the event, as well as the player's teammates, such as Pau Víctor, Pau Cubarsí, Marc Casadó, Raphinha, and Robert Lewandowski. There is no record of Hamilton attending, nor of American singer Travis Scott, who was also originally invited. Another notable absence was striker Nico Williams, a friend of the Blaugrana player on the Spanish national team and who was also celebrating his birthday on Saturday.

The celebration was scheduled to begin at 8 p.m., but was postponed for an hour due to the storm that affected all of Catalonia.

It's worth remembering that this celebration coincides with a crucial moment in his career. Indeed, his contract renewal won't be official until he reaches the age of majority, but it's already a public secret that Lamine Yamal will wear the Barça number 10, along with a new multi-million-dollar contract. A real birthday present.
