More sun on a Thursday marked by the rise in temperature

BarcelonaWe have left behind a Wednesday of very calm and stable weather, with two very distinct faces: a very cloudy morning and an afternoon with a lot of sun. Thursday has started with a repeat of the play and some cloud intervals, but the sun will assert itself much more quickly and give way to a much more pleasant and warm day. We find ourselves immersed in a thermal roller coaster, as after this thermal rise there will be a drop in temperature on Friday, while the weekend will be warmer again.

Thursday: temperature rises

Clouds will return to make an appearance on Thursday morning, with some cloudy intervals, especially on the coast, which will tend to disappear as we approach midday. Nevertheless, as already happened this Wednesday, no precipitation is expected, not even during the afternoon in the Pyrenees. The temperature will rise everywhere and reach 35 ºC in Ponent and Empordà, far from the extreme heat values of a few weeks ago, before dropping again by Friday.

Friday: drop in temperature

We will reach the gates of the weekend with a Friday dominated by high clouds, which will circulate across the sky and leave it overcast in many parts of the day. The mercury will drop moderately almost everywhere, except for some points along the coast, where it could rise slightly. The atmosphere will remain warm, which is normal for these final days of meteorological summer.
