The Alicante People's Party (PP) gives in to Vox and will request that the city be considered a Spanish-speaking city.

The crisis in the Alicante municipal government has culminated in the future approval of an institutional declaration requiring the Valencian Parliament to amend the law on the use and teaching of Valencian and define the city as a Spanish-speaking territory.
