Pere Romeu takes over from Ewa Pajor in a hard-fought Champions League win.
Barça thrashed Roma (0-4) and achieved their second victory in two matches in the top European competition.

BarcelonaWithout Ewa Pajor, but with the luxury midfield trident of Patri Guijarro, Alexia Putellas, and Aitana Bonmatí, Barça secured their visit to the tiny Tre Fontane stadium with a hard-fought 4-0 win over Roma. To compensate for the Polish striker's absence, injured on Sunday against Atlético Madrid, Pere Romeu opted for Kika Nazareth in the center forward position in the first half and, from the hour mark, Salma Paralluelo.
The Portuguese player scored the second goal of the match, while Salma still hasn't dazzled like she did two seasons ago, but she put in a solid performance, assisting, of all things, Kika. The scoring started early on for Esmee Brugts, who is experiencing an unstoppable evolution and feels like an undisputed starter since the departure of Fridolina Rölfo. Alexia Putellas, who would face two penalties and miss the first, scored the third from the penalty spot against an Italian side that constantly lost possession in the face of Barça's clear superiority. Substitute Graham Hansen sealed the victory after a delightful pass from Claudia Pina, who had also come on as a substitute in the second half.
Roma probably didn't expect to concede a goal two minutes into the match, when Brugts collected a rebound in the six-yard box and opened the scoring. From then on, it looked like the Italians would be sacks, but they managed to defend with a very low block that, at times, managed to trouble Barça. However, the Blaugrana didn't despair and kept creating plays until they secured another rout, marking their second win in two Champions League matches.
