OsloThe moment has arrived. The day for which Barça women have been working all season: the Champions League final. This Saturday (6:00 PM), Oslo will bring together the two best teams in Europe in a duel in which the benches will play a very important role. Pere Romeu —assistant to Jonatan Giráldez at Barça— will seek to avenge the Lisbon defeat and lift his first Champions League at the helm of the blaugrana project.

The Catalan team is looking for its fourth European trophy against a Lyon side that already has eight on its record. It will be the fourth time the two teams face each other in the decisive match for the title. Barça has only managed to defeat the French team on one occasion, in Bilbao two seasons ago, the last time they met. Before that, Lyon had managed to defeat the Blaugranas, both in Budapest — in the first Champions League final in Barça's history — and in Turin.

Michele Kang —owner of Olympique Lyonnais and London City— wants to beat the Catalan team again. The South Korean businesswoman has signed the Blaugrana coach, Jonatan Giráldez, the sporting director, Markel Zubizarreta, and players like Ingrid Engen or Jana Fernández. Furthermore, this summer she has two more footballers on her radar. Kang wants to take Mapi León and Alexia Putellas to London City.

Barça comes into the match with the only absence of Laia Aleixandri, who is out long-term. Pere Romeu has been able to recover Graham Hansen for the final, after a thigh adductor injury, and Irene Paredes, who could not play in the Copa del Rey final due to muscular discomfort. In addition, Aitana Bonmatí will also be available, having already played several minutes. For their part, Lyon will have the significant absence of Diani. The French forward suffered a knee injury a few weeks ago.
