Carlos Alcaraz, struggling with a psoas muscle injury in the second set, couldn't match the Dane's Holger Rune, who defeated him 6-7 (6), 2-6 in the Conde de Godó Trophy final. Thus, Rune, 21, became the first Dane to win in the history of the Barcelona tournament.
