BarcelonaBarça wants to lift its head again after one of the most complicated weeks of the season. The defeats against Real Madrid in the Clásico and PSG in the Champions League have curbed the euphoria of Hansi Flick's team, which had started the season at a high level. Despite the two consecutive blows, the 'blaugranes' maintain the lead in La Liga and are looking for a victory that will allow them to recover their rhythm in front of the fans.

The next rival will be Alavés, which arrives at the duel in a worrying dynamic. Despite occupying the seventh position in the standings, the Vitoria side has gone six rounds without a win, with two draws and four defeats. Quique Sánchez Flores' team will try to take advantage of Barça's doubts to put an end to this negative streak and score points on one of the most demanding pitches in the competition.

Barça has the absences of Xavi Espart –who is suffering from a syndesmosis of the right ankle–, Dani Olmo –with an injury to the left adductor–, Eric Garcia –with a muscle injury to the rectus femoris of the right thigh–, Andreas Christensen –with a muscle injury to the rectus femoris of the left quadriceps– and Roony Bardghji –with a rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament of the right knee–. On the other hand, Alavés will not be able to count on Facundo Garcés or Mikel Rodríguez, both with a rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament.
