"The Digital Kit has radically changed both our company's internal management and external image."
For Mo Salah Mohamed, CEO and founder of the Melilla-based company Promeco 2000 SL, the Digital Kit program has helped them advance in management, streamline processes, and expand their construction company's reach abroad.

"Kit Digital has helped us strengthen, organize, and manage all our documentation, both internally and externally," explains Mo Salah Mohamed, CEO and founder of the Melilla-based construction company Promeco 2000 SL. "From hours of service to time sheets, including maintenance and complex payrolls; work," he explains.
For the CEO of Promeco 2000, being a Digital Kit beneficiary has been a great help in streamlining processes such as invoicing, budget management, and supplier management. "Everything goes much faster today thanks to digitalization," the CEO of Promeco 2000 firmly states.
The deadline to apply for the Digital Kit grant is October 31.
Companies that have not yet applied for the aid can do so until 11:00 a.m. on October 31, 2025, when the deadline for applying for the Kit Digital voucher for companies and self-employed individuals with 0 to fewer than 3 employees, as well as for joint property partnerships, civil partnerships, and jointly owned agricultural holdings, closes. Both calls for applications close shortly, but the one for companies with 0 to fewer than 3 employees is in the final budgeting phase. Therefore, the call for applications will close when the deadline or budget for the call expires, whichever comes first. You can consult the calls for applications at the Red.es headquarters or on the Acela SME website.
The program launched in March 2022, and since then, Red.es has launched five calls for applications targeting different segments of companies with between 0 and fewer than 250 employees. To date, the Digital Kit program has awarded more than 820,000 Digital Kit grants throughout the country, equivalent to more than €3.3 billion.
This is the most requested SME digitalization program in the history of Spain, and it has also achieved unprecedented reach. Proof of this is that more than 90% of municipalities have received at least one digital voucher from this program. Grants from this program have reached all provinces and autonomous communities, including the autonomous cities of Ceuta and Melilla.
This is the case of Promeco 2000, a company located in Melilla that requested assistance to improve its processes. "What prompted us to apply for Kit Digital support was, primarily, to sort out the digital chaos within a company," continues the CEO of Promeco 2000, who believes that "even today, there are many people who are not familiar with the topic of digitalization and IT." "I recommend it, without a doubt, and not just in my sector," he continues. "Any small thing you do with Kit Digital, there will be companies that will benefit 100% and others that will benefit 1%; but either way, I think they should take advantage of something that's there," he concludes.
Easy, simple and agile process
To apply for aid, the first thing the entrepreneur must do is register on the platformwww.acelerapyme.esand complete a self-diagnosis test, which measures the company's level of digital maturity. Once registered, the next step is to request the digital voucher on the Red.es website.
If anything has characterized this program, it's its agility and ease. Under the motto of zero paperwork and thanks to automated tools, Red.es has managed to streamline the process, reducing the processing time from an average of three hours to three minutes. To date, approximately 20 million automated queries have been completed. This means that, if the SME or self-employed person meets the requirements and submits the application correctly, they will be granted aid in just 15 days.
Once the aid has been granted, the companies benefiting from the Digital Kit can access a wide catalogue of digital solutions that can be consulted on the website.www.acelerapyme.esand sign agreements for the provision of digital solutions.
Kit Digital has achieved enormous agility and ease of use for SMEs and self-employed workers. Today, more than three years after its launch, applications continue to arrive from companies and self-employed workers interested in assistance with digitizing their businesses, with implementations having already impacted more than 2.5 million jobs. During this time, more than 1 million telephone inquiries have been answered, resulting in nearly 9 million minutes of support for applicants, beneficiaries, and digitizing agents.
More than 11,000 digitalization agents have joined, 98% of which are ICT SMEs.
Digitalization agents are responsible for implementing digital solutions in beneficiary companies and for properly justifying their implementation. There are currently more than 11,000 participating digitalization agents, 98% of which are small ICT companies. Furthermore, a survey conducted by Red.es on a sample of 1,626 digitalization agents between February 8 and March 1, 2024, shows that 84% of the agents surveyed consider that their activity has grown thanks to Kit Digital, and 60% of the digitalization agents surveyed are interested in the development of Kit Digital.
