The imagination inspires us and at home, proposals like those of the Baix Llobregat invite us to experience a journey close by without the need to travel long distances. The Llobregat-Anoia line of Ferrocarrils de Catalunya (FGC) is one of the great discoveries this year and the Baix Llobregat, a territory full of heritage, nature, and experiences to enjoy with family and friends. With stops in 10 municipalities, getting off in the Baix Llobregat hides great discoveries with a wide agenda of activities to enjoy, on a formidable train journey.

A packed agenda

With activities that combine culture, gastronomy, visits, festivals, and fairs, the ten municipalities of Baix Llobregat invite you to experience a getaway that will not leave us indifferent. Cornellà de Llobregat, Sant Boi de Llobregat, Santa Coloma de Cervelló, Sant Vicenç dels Horts, Pallejà, Sant Andreu de la Barca, Martorell, Sant Esteve Sesrovires, Abrera, and Olesa de Montserrat are, due to their proximity, ten destinations that can be easily reached by train, in a sustainable and comfortable way, and where one can enjoy an agenda filled with great experiences.The Colònia Güell and Gaudí's Crypt, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, make a first stop in Santa Coloma de Cervelló essential, where the Modernist Festival is also held from October 2nd to 4th. The modernist heritage of the Baix Llobregat region is more present than ever within the framework of the Gaudí Year 2026, and the festival is a unique opportunity to discover it with recreations of everyday scenes from a hundred years ago, featuring period costumes and all the details that the participating actors use to bring life in the colony at the beginning of the 20th century to life.

In Sant Boi, a visit to Can Barraquer is also a must. This 14th-century manor house is the main headquarters of the Sant Boi Museum and was the house where the Chief Councilor of Barcelona, Rafael Casanova, lived and died. The Altaveu de Sant Boi, the music festival that offers concerts with new musical discoveries, proposals for nostalgic fans—such as the performance by Los Sírex—, family rock for the little ones, exhibitions, and the Record and Musical Book Fair, is held from September 11th to 13th and makes this destination an ideal place to enjoy leisure and culture all in one.

In Sant Vicenç dels Horts, local points of interest or the Roman Oven of Les Voltes and the Molí dels Frares, an old flour mill, offer places of great scenic and historical value.
