More than 11,000 people attended for gender-based violence in 2026

The Specialized Intervention Services for sexist violence have assisted 11,426 people in Catalonia during the first half of 2026, while last year the total was 14,550, according to government figures. Of the people assisted, 9,996 are women, 1,113 sons and daughters, and 317 adolescents.
